Harmony Warriors Depart Kwara To Face Akure Gunners

The players and coaching crew of Kwara United left Ilorin on the club's bus this morning around 6:30am for Akure to honour the Week 10 Glo Nigeria Professional Football League match between Sunshine Stars FC and the Harmony Warriors.

The Harmony Boys are well rested and ready to slug it out with the Akure Gunners come Wednesday evening. Most of the injured players from last week are well now and are on the bus travelling with the team.

Adeshina Gata Jr. is back with the team after being sidelined for more than a month due to injury. Captain of the team, Akeem Onigbari is now fully fit and making the trip.

Three players did not make the trip, defender Isiaka Oladuntoye, striker John Chukwudi and surprisingly Iyoro Evans was dropped by the coach because of bad attitude.

All players are hungry for an away win against the table toppers, Sunshine Stars, and are gearing to go. Speaking with midfield maestro, Dare Ojo, before the movement he talks about the readiness of the squad.

"We are good to go. I give kudos to the technical crew for their job well done. They're doing their best.

"Sunshine stars of Akure are doing well for now but we're going there to surprise our critics. We all are ready to make the difference," the defensive midfielder concluded.
