Nigerian midfielder, Nosa
Igiebor’s Israeli club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, have won the Israeli Premier League with
two matchdays to spare.
36 rounds are usually
played in the Israeli Premier League and Maccabi have clinched the title at the
34th Week of footballing action in the top tier of Israeli league
after defeating Ironi Kiryat Shmona 2-1.
This is the third consecutive
title for the Israeli giants and they will try once more to play in next season’s
UEFA Champions League.
Igiebor and his team mates
at Maccabi Tel Aviv will be looking to win a double this season when they face Hapoel
Beer Sheva on Wednesday for the State Cup Final.
Igiebor will not play in
the State Cup final as he is suspended after receiving a yellow card in the
last week in the 1-1 draw against The Camels.
