U20 WC: FIFA Names Flying Eagles Youngest Team Of The Competition

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been named the youngest team of the FIFA U20 World Cup by the world football governing body, FIFA heading to the competition in New Zealand.


File:2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.pngNigeria will be parading the youngest team at the mundial has they have produced an average age of 18 years and 9 months, according to FIFA.
Taiwo Awoniyi, among other Flying Eagles players, has been named among one of the youngest players to watch out for during the championship.

The countries with the oldest players are Germany and Ukraine.

Nigeria will begin their campaign for a first ever U20 World Cup success when they meet Brazil on June 1 at the Stadium TaranakiNew Plymouth.

The Flying Eagles are in the Group E with Brazil, North Korea and Hungary.
