Sunday Mba Set To Leave CA Bastia

Nigeria international Sunday Mba, is on the verge of leaving French outfit CA Bastia this summer.

The contract of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner runs out this summer and he will be free to leave the French club.

Mba now claims that he has offers from bigger clubs in France, Germany and Turkey and he is weighing up his options with his representatives before he takes a decision.

But the former Dolphins and Enyimba man has kept the identity of the clubs interested in him close to his chest.

"Right now there are offers from much bigger clubs based in Germany and Turkey as well as in France. But I cannot talk about them yet - or reveal the names of the clubs involved because nothing has been agreed yet. But hopefully and by God's grace things will get clearer soon. My manager in Nigeria and representative in London are doing their bit to tidy up things and when things are clear I will be able to make a move," Mba said.

"My club have been good to me and I am happy with the opportunity I got from them, but now I am looking forward to a new challenge and by God's grace I will know where I will be playing club football soon."

Mba joined CA Bastia in December 2013 after a transfer battle over his ownership between Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs Enugu Rangers and Warri Wolves, following his eye-catching display at the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa that year.
