The Nigeria D’Tigers defeated Kenya in a blowout win on
Thursday evening 83-52 in Johannesburg at the Four Nations Challenge hosted by
South Africa.
The first quarter ended 20-18 with the Nigerian team
managing a two-point advantage. D’Tigers did most of their damage in the second
quarter by stretching the lead with a clear 16 points to close the first half
at 48-30. At the end of the third quarter, Nigeria ensured the Kenyans were far
behind, leading 67-42. The Kenyan side could not catch up in the fourth quarter
as D’Tigers continued with their brilliance, ending the game at 83-52.

The tournament resumes on Friday, March 20 with Mozambique
squaring up against Kenya at 6 pm, while host South Africa puts Nigeria
