West Ham United gaffer, Sam Allardyce is strongly linked to
Nigeria to take over as coach of the Super Eagles according to the Sun.
The former Bolton Wanderers coach is at the top of the list
as the coach to take charge of Sunderland at the end of the season.
There is a strong rapport between Allardyce and former
Bolton captain, Austin Okocha, according to reports strings are being pulled by
the former international to persuade the Big Sam into coaching the Super
Eagles.
Okocha was in the United Kingdom for a match reading course
with some other former Nigerian players but he spoke with one of the
representatives of Allardyce in getting the manager to coach Nigeria.
However, Stephen Keshi has been given a deadline of Friday
to sign a new contract or he will get replaced by another coach.
