FIBA Africa has granted Nigeria a wild card to participate in the final round of the 4th FIBA Africa U16 Women Championship, according to BBall Naija.
This is FIBA Africa's way of supporting the relaunch of the country's youth development program.
The championship will be held from 10th - 19th July, 2015 in Antananarivo, Madagascar and it is the qualifying competition for the FIBA U17 World Championship for Women in 2016.
It is understood that a training camp will open in Abuja later this month.
