Nigeria’s Under-23 men’s national team coach, Samson Siasia, has invited 30 players to jostle for places as he opens residential camping towards the 2016 Rio Olympic qualifiers.
The ‘Dream Team’ will face the winner of the match between Ghana and Congo for the right to play in the African Under-23 Championship which will serve as the qualifiers for the Olympics.
Usual suspects Junior Ajayi, Abiodun Akande, Segun Oduduwa and Oghenekaro Etebo made the cut but there has also been call-ups for some new players in the former Super Eagles handler’s list.
Enyimba’s Okeke Uche, Chisom Kizito and Ekpo Daniel have been called up to join with the team.
The players are expected to be in camp by Sunday 31st May 2015 as training commences on Monday, 1st June 2015.
