Elderson Echiejile has saluted Eagles goalkeeper and skipper
Vincent Enyeama over his 100th international cap for Nigeria.
On Wednesday, Lille goalkeeper Enyeama played his 100th
official match for Nigeria in a friendly against Uganda to become only the
second Nigeria star to achieve such a milestone.
Joseph Yobo was the first to reach this milestone when he
played his 100th game for the Super Eagles at last year’s World Cup in Brazil.
“Congratulations Vincent (Enyeama) on reaching a century of
caps for Nigeria,” said Elderson.
“In 13 years playing for Nigeria, you have proved yourself
and it is therefore not a surprise you have now made 100 appearances for the
country.
“You are a pair of safe and reliable hands for both club and
country."
